1、概念：盡管虛擬活動文件可以顯著地減少所需的臨時磁盤空間量，但是缺少“活動”文件的臨時副本意味著必須為每個過程均重復讀取初始數(shù)據(jù)源。對于從外部源讀取的大型數(shù)據(jù)文件，創(chuàng)建數(shù)據(jù)的臨時副本可以改善性能。例如，對于從數(shù)據(jù)庫源讀取的數(shù)據(jù)表，必須為需要讀取數(shù)據(jù)的任何命令或過程重復執(zhí)行從數(shù)據(jù)庫讀取信息的SQL查詢。由于實際上所有統(tǒng)計分析過程和圖表繪制過程均需要讀取數(shù)據(jù)，因此會為您運行的每個過程重復執(zhí)行SQL查詢，如果您運行大量過程，這會導致處理時間的顯著增加。如果您在執(zhí)行分析的計算機（本地計算機或遠程計算機）上有足夠的磁盤空間，則可以通過創(chuàng)建活動文件的數(shù)據(jù)高速緩存來消除多次SQL查詢，并減少處理時間。此數(shù)據(jù)高速緩存是完整數(shù)據(jù)的臨時副本。

3、說明：單擊[確定]會在程序下次讀取數(shù)據(jù)（例如，下次您運行統(tǒng)計程序）時創(chuàng)建數(shù)據(jù)高速緩存，這通常是您想要的，因為它不要求額外的數(shù)據(jù)傳輸。[立即高速緩存]會立即創(chuàng)建數(shù)據(jù)高速緩存，這在大多數(shù)情況下是不必要的。[立即高速緩存]主要用于以下兩種情況：

1）數(shù)據(jù)源被“鎖定”，在您結(jié)束會話、打開不同的數(shù)據(jù)源或高速緩存數(shù)據(jù)之前，任何人都無法更新該數(shù)據(jù)源。2）對于大型數(shù)據(jù)源，如果您高速緩存了數(shù)據(jù)，則在數(shù)據(jù)編輯器的“數(shù)據(jù)視圖”選項卡的內(nèi)容中進行滾動會快得多。
