Technical Skills & Job Experience
Strong understanding of distributed server platforms (e.g. Linux, Unix, Windows), high end computing, cloud and modern MPP technology (Hadoop, Hive, in-Database computing, columnal DB) and virtualization technology.Hands-on experience in RDBM and NoSQL DB (MongoDB or Cassandra) set up, optimization, maintenance and support.Direct experience in managing online portals, mobile devices, social media platforms (weibo, wechat and other popular media in China) and setting up of metrics, KPI’s, reports and dashboards integrating results from all platforms and functions.Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant analytics and data mining & modeling work experience. Advanced degree in statistics, computer science, or machine-leaning related fields requiredProven ability to develop and execute sophisticated data mining & modeling solutionsIn depth knowledge of the advanced techniques and tools common to the data mining world such as KNIME, RapidMiner, and Weka; knowledge of R and machine learning techniques is requiredStrong experience in marketing analytics, including marketing response modeling and customer segmentation; experience with online media and targeting a big plusWorking experience with relational database management system (RDBMS); with a strong knowledge of SQL that enable the business.
 
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Build and execute the company’s data mining and modeling activities in support of our clients’ online targeting and digital media marketing goalsDevelop and maintain ongoing data exploratory analyses against internal and client-provided dataSupport the business teams to solve complex segmentation and RTB prediction and campaign analysis challengesWork with our R&D team to embed Big Data analytical technology into our platformConduct studies, tests and use advanced data mining & modeling techniques to build solutions that optimize the quality and performance of the company’s dataFoster a strong sense of teamwork between IT and other business leaders, consistently demonstrating that IT has as its primary responsibility; the high-level support of its clients and aligning with the technical, operational, and business objectives of the company as a whole.

Education
College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other quantitative disciplines, with relevant advanced degrees preferred.
