R語言中兩個數(shù)組(或向量)的外積如何計算

所謂數(shù)組(或向量)a和b的外積,指的是a的每一個元素和b的每一個元素搭配在一起相乘得到的新元素.當(dāng)然運算規(guī)則也可自定義.外積運算符為 %o%(注意:百分號中間的字母是小寫的字母o).例如:

    > a <- 1:2  
    > b <- 3:5  
    > d <- a %o% b  
    > d  
         [,1] [,2] [,3]  
    [1,]    3    4    5  
    [2,]    6    8   10  

注意維數(shù)公式為:

    dim(d) = c( dim(a) , dim(b) ) 
實際上R語言提供了一個更為一般化得外積函數(shù)outer(X,Y,Fun),比較簡單,看個示例吧.
下面的例子是為了繪制 z = x**2 +50cos(y)的3維表面圖:
