數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家應(yīng)具備6種才能

隨著大數(shù)據(jù)技術(shù)的發(fā)展，數(shù)據(jù)挖掘方面的人才變得日益搶手。而《哈佛商業(yè)評論》日前更是宣布，“數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家”是二十一世紀最性感的職業(yè)。所謂性感，既代表著難以名狀的誘惑，又說明了大家都不知道它干的是什么。

那么這樣的人才該具備怎樣的才能呢?Teradata天睿公司首席技術(shù)官官寶立明認為，數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家應(yīng)該具備6方面的能力或者技能：

1、好奇心。數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家應(yīng)該天生和數(shù)據(jù)打交道，會從不同角度看數(shù)據(jù)。

2、經(jīng)驗和直覺。從什么地方開始著手了解數(shù)據(jù)，需要經(jīng)驗和直覺。

3、設(shè)計實驗的場景。知道如何虛擬和假設(shè)場景，了解得到的數(shù)據(jù)。如果得不到數(shù)據(jù)，了解其中的原因。

4、掌握統(tǒng)計方面的能力和知識。很多人對統(tǒng)計知識少之又少，也有很多人不知道關(guān)聯(lián)關(guān)系、數(shù)據(jù)價值以及抽樣。

5、會做數(shù)據(jù)挖掘，懂得預(yù)測未來。

6、有能力把想法與其他人去交流。不是用數(shù)學(xué)的語言介紹，而是用商業(yè)的語言給別人進行交流溝通。

寶立明指出，數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家對基于數(shù)據(jù)決策的企業(yè)而言很重要，但這是鳳毛麟角的人才。不過，他認為學(xué)習(xí)數(shù)學(xué)、統(tǒng)計等專業(yè)的人才未來可以發(fā)展成為數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家。

“企業(yè)可以把學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)和統(tǒng)計的人才招聘過來，發(fā)展成為數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家。同時也可以把學(xué)習(xí)物理學(xué)、化學(xué)，甚至社會學(xué)的人招聘過來?！睂毩⒚髡f。

寶立明表示，單純學(xué)習(xí)物理專業(yè)的人找工作可能不容易，但因為他們會做實驗，會設(shè)立實驗場景，并對數(shù)據(jù)進行分析和統(tǒng)計，因此他們也有望成為數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)家。
