Role purpose:                                                           
Analysis and performance management of all retail credit decision and rating models for Company globally, ensuring they are accurate, delivered in a timely manner and communicated to all relevant parties.
Makes complex changes / enhancements to existing monitoring reports based on agreed change requests.
Analyse and report on the performance of Global Retail Models to support the evaluation and maintenance of the models, ensuring they meet business and regulatory requirements.

Accountabilities
The incumbent of this role can expect to undertake the following activities that are deemed core to the role:
- Make complex changes to BAU monitoring reports based on reporting change requests defined and agreed by manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Independently deliver quality analysis and insights regarding model performance in a timely manner.
- Ensure clear & effective lines of communication with relevant business units.
- Adhere to Company policies, processes and procedures and produce consistent, standardised model reporting.
- Participate in the process improvement initiatives.
- Proactively develop own technical skill and subject matter expertise.
- Mentor and coach to junior team members to enhance their reporting capabilities.
 
Skill, Knowledge & Experience
- Graduate qualifications in statistics, mathematics, MIS or operations research.
- Excellent written & oral English communication skill is a must.
- Strong analytical, numerical, problem solving skills.
- Strong technical skill on SAS and SQL is a must.
- Advanced Microsoft office applications knowledge, VBA is a plus.
- Good understanding of retail banking portfolios.
- Understanding of capital estimates methodology and credit scoring techniques.
- Team player with can-do attitude.
- Hands-on experience on modelling, retail portfolio analysis or Risk reporting.
