數(shù)據(jù)挖掘、數(shù)據(jù)分析與數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計有什么區(qū)別

簡單說：數(shù)據(jù)挖掘就是從海量數(shù)據(jù)中找到隱藏的規(guī)則，數(shù)據(jù)分析一般要分析的目標(biāo)比較明確，數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計則是單純的使用樣本來推斷總體。

主要區(qū)別： “數(shù)據(jù)分析”的重點是觀察數(shù)據(jù)，“數(shù)據(jù)挖掘”的重點是從數(shù)據(jù)中發(fā)現(xiàn)“知識規(guī)則”KDD（Knowledge Discover in Database），數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計的重點是參數(shù)估計和假設(shè)檢驗。 “數(shù)據(jù)分析、數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計”得出的結(jié)論是人的智力活動結(jié)果，“數(shù)據(jù)挖掘”得出的結(jié)論是機器從學(xué)習(xí)集（或訓(xùn)練集、樣本集）發(fā)現(xiàn)的知識規(guī)則。

“數(shù)據(jù)分析”需要人工建模，“數(shù)據(jù)挖掘”自動完成數(shù)學(xué)建模，“數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計”則是把模糊估計變得準確而定量?？梢酝ㄟ^機器學(xué)習(xí)自動建立輸入與輸出的函數(shù)關(guān)系，根據(jù)KDD得出的“規(guī)則”，給定一組輸入?yún)?shù)，就可以得出一組輸出量。

舉個簡單的例子：有一些人總是不及時向電信運營商繳費，如何發(fā)現(xiàn)它們？

數(shù)據(jù)分析：通過對附近人口的生活習(xí)慣、業(yè)余愛好、教育背景、收入分布、家庭組成等進行全方面分析，發(fā)現(xiàn)很多人都習(xí)慣在收到欠費通知以后再繳費。結(jié)論就是提前發(fā)放短信提醒。

數(shù)據(jù)挖掘：通過編寫機器學(xué)習(xí)聚類算法發(fā)現(xiàn)無法通過觀察圖表得出的深層次原因。發(fā)現(xiàn)家住在五環(huán)以外的人，由于居住環(huán)境偏遠沒有時間上營業(yè)廳繳費。結(jié)論就需要多設(shè)立一些營業(yè)廳或者自助繳費點。

數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計：通過統(tǒng)計學(xué)推理方法組成樣本的試驗單元進行參數(shù)估計和假設(shè)檢驗，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)不及時繳錢人群里的貧困人口占82%。所以結(jié)論是收入低的人往往會繳費不及時。結(jié)論就需要降低資費。
